You can pair Zigbee devices directly with the Magic Cube without the need for a hub.  Plug in this Zigbee Adapter.  Recommended and Tested with the Magic Cube and a plethora Zigbee devices.  Choose this adapter if you are planning on flashing it and upgrading devices to use matter sometime in the future.

Includes a 3 feet USB extension cable needed for reliable connection.  Using the USB cable is highly recommended.
